2026 Israel & Jordan Itinerary: 

Day 0 Thu 19 March:  Travel Day.  Fly from Home to Tel Aviv, Israel.
Day 1 Fri 20 March:  Arrive in Tel Aviv.  Meet at Tel Aviv International Airport by 11am local time, Saturday 21 March, board the bus and visit Jaffa (ancient Joppa) where Jonah boarded a ship to flee his calling and later Peter received the vision that led him to evangelize the Gentiles. Overnight in Tel Aviv (2nts).
Day 2 Sat 21 March:  Through the Coastal Plains.  Travel south and visit the archaeological sites of Gezer (Gezer Calendar) and Lachish, two of the ancient gate cities guarding the capital Jerusalem; Tel Marakesh, Bell Caves; and Tel Azekah, place of David and Goliath’s battle.
Day 3 Sun 22 March:  Inland through the Jezreel Valley.  Visit Caesarea Maritima, Herod’s ancient engineering marvel; travel through the Jezreel Valley to Mt Carmel, and Meggido; experience the Druze culture and food. Overnight in Nazareth (2nts).
Day 4 Mon 23 March:  Around Nazareth hometown of Jesus.  Go on the Nazareth city walk to Mary’s Well; the Church of the Annunciation; a local Synagogue. See the beautiful mosaics of Zippori.  Travel to Cana where Jesus at the wedding feast turned water into wine; visit the Franciscan Wedding Church.
Day 5 Tue 24 March:  Onto the Sea of Galilee. Visit Nazareth Village to experience daily life in Jesus’ time.  Hike up Mt Arbel for a spectacular view of the Sea of Galilee and Mt Tabor, one of the traditional sites of the Transfiguration.  Overnight in Tiberias (3nts).
Day 6 Wed 25 March:  Following the Jesus Trail.  Walk the Mount of Beatitudes, the traditional site of the Sermon on the Mount; Tabgha, site of the multiplication of the loaves and fish; Church of St. Peter’s Primacy; Church of the Multiplication; Capernaum; Ginosar for a traditional boat ride on the Galilee; special St. Peter’s Fish Dinner.
Day 7 Thu 26 March:  Up to the Northern Tribal lands.  Visit the Golan Heights; Gamla, the hometown of Josephus; the Syrian border; view of Mt Hermon; Caesarea Philippi; Temple of Pan at Banias Springs; Tel Dan, where the “Tel Dan Stele” was discovered.
Day 8 Fri 27 March:  Crossing into Jordan.  Sheikh Hussein Bridge border crossing.  Change buses in Jordan and drive to Bethany Beyond the Jordan, Baptismal site of Jesus; Madaba, ancient Moabite city with the oldest mosaic map of the Holy Lands; Mt. Nebo, from where Moses viewed the Promised Land.  Overnight in Petra (2nts).
Day 9 Sat 28 March:  Tour Petra and the Moabite desert.  Marvel at the wonderous rock formations of Petra, the abandoned ancient stone city.
Day 10 Sun 29 March:  Free Day in the seaside resort town of Eilat.  Early morning border crossing to Israel at Wadi Araba border crossing; travel to Eilat Hotel for check-in; free time for the rest of the day to explore Eilat and Red Sea activities.  Overnight in Eilat (1nt).
Day 11 Mon 30 March:  Into the Negev Desert.  Start from the south tip of Israel and journey north; Timnah Park with a full-scale Tabernacle Replica; Mitzpe Ramon Crater; Tel Arad; Ein Avdat.  Overnight at the Dead Sea (2nts).
Day 12 Tue 31 March:  On the Dead Sea.  Visit Masaada, the final Jewish fortress; Ein Gedi, King David’s desert refuge; float on the Dead Sea.
Day 13 Wed 01 April:  Ascent to Jerusalem.  Qumran Caves and Dead Sea Scrolls; cross into the West Bank to visit Bethlehem; Shepard’s Fields; the Nativity Church.  Overnight in Bethlehem (1nt).
Day 14 Thu 02 April:  Around the Capital.  Leave the West Bank to Jerusalem; Temple Mount; Western Wall; City of David and Hezekiah‘s Tunnel, a feat of ancient engineering; Davidson Center.  Overnight in Jerusalem (2nts).
Day 15 Fri 03 April: The Old City of Jerusalem.  Israel Museum with Dead Sea Scrolls Center and models of the Ancient City and Temple; Via Delarosa; the Upper Room; Pool of Bethesda; Church of the Holy Sepulcher; Mt of Olives; Mt Zion; Golgotha; the Garden Tomb; Yad Vashem, the Holocaust Museum.
Day 16 Sat 04 April:  End of the Journey.  Transfer to Tel Aviv airport for return flights home.
